St Kilda

41 miles to the west of the Outer Hebrides this must be one of the most remote places in the British Isles. The population were evacuated in 1930. It sounds like the perfect place to spend a few days; just me (maybe Other Half too), a stack of books, a wood burner, a pair of walking boots, a notebook and a kettle.
Ahhh. Yes please.
